Why Sargam exists
Indian classical music is often taught and preserved through handwritten notation. Sargam provides a focused digital writer for turning those pages and musical ideas into structured, editable notation.
Designed from a musician's perspective
The editor combines familiar swar and notation markings with taal-aware structure, a playable piano, computer-keyboard and MIDI input, lyrics, playback, export, and public sharing. It gives teachers, students, performers, and composers one practical place to document and exchange music.
